Invitation to Attend
On behalf of Joint Program Committee and Society Councils we invite you to attend the joint ASCEPT-AuPS-HBPRCA scientific meeting in Perth from 4th to 9th December, 2011. ASCEPT-AuPS meeting will run from Sunday 4 December until Wednesday 7 December with HBPRCA joining the joint meeting on Wednesday 7 December. HBPRCA's meeting runs from 8 to 9 December 2011 - to register please visit the HBPRCA website.
We believe this meeting will be an excellent opportunity to showcase the research of members of the three Societies. Importantly, this meeting offers the opportunity to network with colleagues and other leading scientists from ASCEPT, AuPS and HBPRCA Societies at both social and scientific activities.
The program of plenary lectures, symposia and workshops, oral presentations and posters will be academically and scientifically stimulating and lead to new collaborations and research opportunities. Annual awards and prizes will also be presented at this meeting. With researchers from ASCEPT, AuPS and HBPRCA, this meeting provides an excellent opportunity to network across these Societies.
Our international guests are Dr Roland Jones from the British Pharmacological Society and Professor Haruaki Nakaya from the Japanese Pharmacological Society. Professor Robert Balaban and Professor Mark Hargreaves are the AuPS plenary and AuPS invited lecturer respectively and Professor Peter Rothwell who is the HBPRCA's RD Wright invited lecturer.
Perth, with its clear skies, open spaces and amazing natural attractions is an ideal conference location. Set on the banks of the spectacular Swan River, Perth is a rapidly growing urban centre that offers cultural diversity and sophistication combined with a relaxed lifestyle and friendly vibe. Home to world-class wineries and renowned as a surfing destination, Margaret River and the South West area of the state offer fine boutique wineries, gourmet delights, majestic old growth forests, spectacular caves and pristine coastline. With excellent infrastructure and stunning scenery, the region is perfect for satellite workshops as well as pre and post conference touring.
We look forward to welcoming you to Perth.
