2024 Clinical Pharmacology Weekend – Call for Abstracts and Registration now open!

ASCEPT’s annual Clinical Pharmacology Weekend will be held at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney on Saturday 18 May and Sunday 19 May 2024.

The weekend’s program will showcase presentations by clinical pharmacologists and other experts, primarily tailored for clinical pharmacology trainees and consultants. However, individuals with an interest in clinical pharmacology, whether from clinical or non-clinical backgrounds, are welcome to join.

The theme for this year’s meeting is “Pharmacoeconomics with interactive case studies“.

This year’s keynote speaker is Professor Zanfina Ademi who leads the Health Economics and Policy Evaluation Research group at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Monash University, and is a member of the economics subcommittee of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC).

All trainees are strongly encouraged to present on an interesting case or topic at the ASCEPT Clinical Weekend! Rather than be limited to patients, case topics can be drawn from problems encountered within the many domains of clinical pharmacology. The best trainee presentation will receive a $750 award, kindly sponsored by CMAX Clinical Research.
