Together, we are grateful to the many individuals and organisations whose support, participation and commitment helped make this global gathering such a memorable and successful event.

It was a privilege to welcome the global pharmacology and therapeutics community to Melbourne (Narrm) from 12–17 July 2026. Bringing together students, early career researchers, clinicians, scientists, educators, industry leaders, innovators in drug discovery and development, and colleagues from around the world created a truly inspiring and collaborative environment.

WCP2026 celebrated the diversity, excellence and innovation that defines our profession. The commitment, enthusiasm and expertise shared throughout the Congress demonstrated the strength of our global community and the importance of working together to advance pharmacology and therapeutics for the benefit of patients and communities worldwide.

Most importantly, I would like to thank all delegates for your participation, engagement and contribution to the Congress. Through your presentations, discussions, questions and networking, you helped create a vibrant and stimulating scientific meeting that fostered new ideas, collaborations and lasting connections.

I would also like to acknowledge our distinguished speakers, session chairs and abstract authors, whose insights and expertise formed the foundation of an outstanding scientific program. Your willingness to share knowledge and experience enriched the Congress and inspired all who attended.

Your passion, professionalism and attention to detail ensured that WCP2026 was a welcoming, inclusive and rewarding experience for all.

We are particularly proud that WCP2026 reflected our shared commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, bringing together voices and perspectives from across the world. The strength of our community lies in its diversity, and it was wonderful to see this reflected throughout the scientific program, discussions and connections formed during the week.
